Experience
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport
Resident Physician
At LSU Health Shreveport, I lead the charge in delivering top-notch medical care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure our patients get the best treatment possible. I handle patient assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and perform various medical procedures. Besides my day-to-day clinical work, I'm always on the lookout for ways to improve our processes through Quality Improvement projects and make better diagnoses using Point-of-Care Ultrasound. I enjoy mentoring junior residents and medical students, diving into clinical research, and keeping up with the latest in medical advancements. My goal is to continually enhance patient outcomes and push forward LSU Health Shreveport's mission of providing exceptional healthcare and education.

HOUSTON Academy
Undergraduate Research Assistant
I received a $3,000 scholarship to support my academic work during my internship. During this internship, I volunteered with the Houston Food Bank and BakerRipley Ripley House after Hurricane Harvey assisting with recovery efforts. I participated in after-school nutrition and diet programs for elementary school children to help them find fun ways to get active and eat nutritious foods. Additionally, I was able to assist in creating two poster presentations shown at community centers in the Houston area to create greater awareness of the importance of healthful eating and making good dietary choices.
